A transfer sticker is a custom sticker that consists of individually cut pieces of vinyl with no background material. It is applied to a surface using a special layer of adhesive transfer tape, which holds the design together for easy and precise placement. This process leaves behind only your design, creating a clean, professional, and seamless "painted-on" look.
Composition of a transfer sticker
A standard transfer sticker consists of three distinct layers:
Paper backing: The bottom layer that the vinyl is originally cut from.
Vinyl sticker: The middle layer, made of the colored vinyl cut into your specific design, text, or logo. The excess vinyl surrounding the design is "weeded" out, leaving only your graphic.
